<< BackTell Us How We are Doing: Alumni Asked to Participate in New Attitude Study
The Winthrop Alumni Association is conducting an Alumni Attitude Study with a third-party vendor, PEG, Ltd. Alumni are randomly selected to participate and may be receiving e-mails regarding the survey.
This new study is a follow-up to the 2006 Alumni Attitude Study, which assessed loyalty factors, communication preferences and giving patterns of alumni.

“The Alumni Association received a lot of very helpful feedback from our study five years ago, and we have worked to incorporate many of our alum’s suggestions into our daily business,” said Debbie Garrick, executive director of alumni relations.
Based on the last study, the Alumni Association has increased e-mail communication to alumni, developed the MyWinthrop online portal, increased social media usage and increased our out-of-state events, particularly in conjunction with Admissions activities.
Garrick added that the Alumni Association has created more activities to educate students about Winthrop traditions and has established Wednesdays at the Walk and Garnet & Gold Fridays to bring the campus community together regularly.
Once the study has been completed, results will be available online.
