Fall Phonathon Begins Next Week

The Phonathon will begin its fall campaign on Sept. 7, 2010. This campaign depends on dedicated Winthrop students to raise unrestricted gifts for the Winthrop Fund, which provides support for key priorities of the Winthrop community, like student scholarships, faculty awards and alumni association initiatives. Nearly half of the funds raised each year for these priorities come from the Phonathon.

During the spring Phonathon, student callers raised $230,000 in pledges and gifts, surpassing their semester goal of $200,000.

A hearty thanks to all the alumni, parents and friends who have provided a rousing endorsement of the Winthrop community through their gifts so far! We look forward to talking with you during the next few weeks.
