Anna Marie Hurst Memorial Scholarship

The late Anna Marie Hurst '12 (pictured at right) was passionate about early childhood education. A family and consumer sciences major, Hurst was an avid supporter of children with developmental delays. The Rock Hill native, a 2009 Northwestern High School graduate, was an active member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and worked at Carolina Kids Child Development Center in Rock Hill, where she helped care for children of many Winthrop University staff members.

To honor Anna's memory and her passion for early childhood education, Anna's family and friends have established the Anna Marie Hurst Memorial Scholarship. Your gift to the Hurst Scholarship will help support students from South Carolina who are majoring in elementary education, early childhood education, or family and consumer sciences. Preference will be given to members of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.
