This page will be updated regularly to provide information to scholarship recipients. Each academic year, we hold “thank you note parties” so that students can write thank you notes to the donors who provided their scholarships. Generally, these events are offered at several different times throughout the fall semester. If you are a scholarship recipient, you will receive an email with information about scheduling.
Insofar as we are able, we would also love to give scholarship recipients the opportunity to meet their scholarship donors. Most years, this takes the form of the scholarship receptions or luncheons hosted by each college, but we do also take students with us to visit donors sometimes or invite students to join us when meeting with a donor who has come to campus for a visit.
However, students may also come to the Office of Development if they have correspondence they wish to send to donors. Please make an appointment in advance by calling Amanda Stewart, Director of Communications and Donor Relations at 803.323.4493.
