Kristen Gebhart Magee '95, President
Kristen received a B.S. degree in business administration from Winthrop in 1995 and an M.B.A. from Clemson University in 2000. She is employed as an area business specialist with Janssen Biotech, Inc., a division of Johnson and Johnson. She has served the Alumni Association as second vice president, secretary, and chaired both the Young Alumni Council and Association Restructure Task Force. She also served as a member of the Greenville County Alumni Executive Committee. Kristen received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2001. Her hobbies are yoga and spending time with her family. Her husband, Jim, is an engineer with Kemet Electronics and they have two sons, Alex (April 2002) and Thomas (Aug. 2003).



Nancy A. Donnelly '77President-Elect
Nancy received a B.A. degree in communications from Winthrop in 1977 and holds a M.P.A. degree from the University of South Carolina. Nancy is currently a global process manager with Unisys Corporation. She has held previous positions in the information technology industry as director of sales, business development consultant, global process development as well as solution development and implementation. She currently serves with a local food bank’s backpack program, and has volunteered with the ALS association and the Avon 3-Day Walk for breast cancer. Nancy and her husband, Tycer, have a combined family of three children: Katey, Brooks, and Robin. Nancy enjoys hiking, traveling, reading and rooftop gardening.



David D. McDonald '01First Vice President
David received a B.A. degree in history from Winthrop in 2001 and earned a M.S.Ed. degree in administration from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2003. David is currently the principal of Indian Land Middle School in Lancaster County, S.C. Previously, David served as a teacher at Lancaster High School and as an assistant principal of Indian Land Elementary/Middle School before becoming principal in 2007. David serves as a member of the Winthrop Alumni Admissions Volunteers, a member of the Annual Fund Loyalty Council, and previously served on the Young Alumni Council. David is also a member of the Indian Land Rotary Club, serves on the board of directors for Steele Hill Community Partners, works as advisor to the Boy Scouts of America Palmetto Council, chairs the board of advisors for Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity Winthrop Chapter, and serves as an international province advisor for Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. In 2008, Winthrop University recognized David as the recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. David's hobbies include travel, studying history, and spending time with family and friends.



Terry Grayson-Caprio '85, Second Vice President
Terry received a B.S. degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Winthrop in 1985. After Winthrop, Terry joined the CPA firm Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as an assistant accountant. In 1998, Terry was admitted to the partnership of KPMG LLP, one of the four largest international accounting firms. Terry’s clients include a number of global companies, both publicly traded and privately held, including BMW Manufacturing Corp., Bowater Inc., and Island Global Yachting Co. In 2010, Terry was named the new managing partner of the KPMG Greenville office. Terry works and resides in Greenville, S.C., with her daughter Grayson Elizabeth Mills, where she participates on the boards of a number of charitable organizations including the United Way-Palmetto Society, Young Philanthropists and the Greenville Art Museum. Terry’s hobbies include interior design and antiquing. Terry was married on October 26, 2007, to Mike Caprio, who is also a partner with KPMG LLP.

Linda Knox Warner '80Treasurer
Linda currently serves as treasurer and finance chair of the Alumni Association, a position she has held since 1987. She received a B.S. degree in business administration from Winthrop in 1980. Linda has served as chair of the Alumni Association’s Affinity Card Task Force while also being a member of the Winthrop University Foundation Board, where she currently serves on the Investment Committee. A former tax auditor with the South Carolina Department of Revenue, Linda is currently a C.P.A. with Bernard N. Ackerman, C.P.A., P.A. in Rock Hill. She is a member of the S.C. Association of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Linda is a member of Oakland Baptist Church, where she has served as a deacon and sings in the choir. She enjoys walking, kayaking, and antique shopping. Linda’s husband, David, works with the City of Rock Hill’s Economic and Urban Development department.
